so given that i have never hunted varmints and have no clue of the practices and what not what do you guys do with em ? they like big game where as you skin em an eat em or do you jus dispose of the carcass's ? i know this sounds like a silly question but like i said i have never been and looks i might be going this spring summer and dont wanna look like a retard lol

In the spring you just leave them where they lay... unless you want to take pictures of blown up varmints and post them here.:D

You might want to check with the landowner as to what he wants killed... many landowners would prefer the coyotes be let alone.
Coyotes kill groundhogs and mice which is beneficial to many farmers.

Not where I hunt 'yotes. Of course, where I hunt them, the farmers keep livestock (sheep, etc.), so they want the 'yotes controlled.

You can donate coyote pelts in the winter to a number of native organizations who will take them, tan them and make clothing out of them. That's what I do with mine. In the Spring, when their winter coat is gone, we usually just drag them off into the bush.

As for groundhogs...stuff them back down their hole. Eat it if you want...but, I don't suggest it...

You should not throw the groundhogs down the holes... the coyotes will just dig them out larger to get at them. Just leave them on top, the landowners will appreciate it.
Buzzards... Raptors... coyotes all get a freel lunch... and if you leave them out you may just get a shot at a coyote.

I leave the gophers/marmots/etc one on every fence post :D or hang them on the wire. come back later with a beer and a lawnchair and watch the raptors pick them up :D

Talk to the land owner, some of them want me to bury the groundhogs so the dogs don't get to them, I just huck them down the hole until I cannot see them normally at this farm.

I killed my first coyote with buckshot from a 12ga. It was an unbelievably exciting experience with a close in shot at a running coyote. THAT felt like hunting.

The only hard part is going to be getting a coyote to come within shotgun distance. They are very smart and wary animals and if they have been hunted in your area they will be nigh impossible to get within shotgun range.

Just when I thought I was the biggest hilbilly on here :D I can just see you sitting in front of that trailer hollering out to your wife; "moma come see this dang 'ol raptor pick the eyes out of that thaing, bring me another beer too will ya"

How about a .54 caliber flintlock? :)

Leave 'em there, gophers eat their dead.
I saw one that kept trying to get to his dead comrade, I had him pinned down in his fighting hole for a half hour.
