So ive been looking into the Millet DMS-1 for some time.. USD$200 or so .. ive had one before and i like it , its a neat unit with a good quick reticle.

one of my local guys said Fornicate Millet.. just get the Vector 'Arbiter' .. as Vector are one of the OEM's that supply millet.. and at half the price for the same unit.. why wouldnt you ?

looking at some reviews of Vector optics gear i see that their low magnification units 1-4x or 1-6x are by all accounts very good, for the price.

so does anyone have experience with them ?

Owned 4 of these scopes and still use 1 of them on my Norinco back packer. It did win me a keg dinner. Although I only use them on my rimfire scope's. They seem to be good but I don't know if I would trust them on a center fire rifle. Get a Vortex that has low mag and never have to worry again. Or even a Nikon has 1 for $200.
Just my two cents though.

i used the Millet marked version on an M14 with success so i know they are safe
