We had some REALLY bad freezing fog yesterday, and I decided to do a bit of a test with some rangefinders I have here.
I used a Sig Kilo8k, Leica Geovid Pro AB+ 10x42, Swarovski EL Range TA 10x42, Revic BR4, Sig Kilo10K Gen 1 10x42, Vectronix Vector X 10x42 and a Vectronix PLRF15 as I had about 250m of visibility.
My Vectronix PLRF15 would show between 23m and 36m range no matter the distance I ranged...Not a single one of the rangefinders OTHER than the new Vectronix Vector X would give a reading which I found quite interesting. I had around 250m of total visibility, and the Vectronix Vector X would range objects to around 180m.
It was an interesting afternoon.
