Course Description:
Vehicles are the one of the most common features of the modern operating environment. They can contain serious threats or provide life-saving cover. High risk vehicle stops are a fact of life for the law-enforcement professional. Many times officers aren't aware the interaction is “high-risk” until fully engaged. In a military context, vehicles present a wide variety of options and advantages in the operating environment. It’s critical in any environment to understand as much about vehicles and vehicular-based interactions as possible.
Day one will feature a knowledge packed day of exploration and live fire scenarios. Day two will bring all the skills and knowledge into the Simunition© world. Similar scenarios as day one will be executed using actors including many “shoot, don’t shoot” situations.
This is a fast paced 2-day course designed to reinforce everything you know about high risk vehicle stops and operating in, out and around vehicles. There will be 4 vehicles on the range and opportunities to perform many drills not normally offered anywhere else. Don’t miss out.
