Velocity help

I am reloading Honady 125gn 9mm HAP rounds and all the info I have says this load should be in the 1080fps but when I crony them I am only getting 920-950fps. I am using a S&W MP9.
7.4gn Accurate #7 powder
S&B primers
1.060 OAL

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you weighing the powder charge or are you using a Lee dipper, or Auto disk powder measure? The Lee gear usually throws a bit light in my experience. Could explain the missing FPS

Does your gun cycle properly? Is that load reasonably accurate?

Then seriously who cares about the velocity. It won't make any improvement to anything to push the bullets faster.

Would pu be happier if the bullets were going the speed they were supposed to but produced crap accuracy?

I am using a Lee autodisk it should be putting out 7.6gn but 7.4 is what I am getting when I weight the charge.

Yes my gun dose cycle fine with this load. But I need to Make power factor for ISPC and that means I need about 1050fps.

Change the disk up and weigh your loads till you get it proper.
