I was so impressed with this unit that I bought one to test. It is now my favorite ear protection. I not only use it for shooting. On my John Deere I only hear the slightest mower noise and my music doesn't have to be blaring. At the range I can hear everyone speak but the rifle shots are dulled so as not to be deafening.
And no cord for my phone.

When I was reading your post. I realized my mistake. The Bluetooth model does come with a cord for your phone. This is for those that don't have the bluetooth option on their phones. But you can unhook it from the headset if you don't wish to use it.
