So everywhere I go, I'm hearing conflicting stories, Versamax Tac is 3" only thus 5 x 3" shells in the tube (FRT says so and it's on the barrel), others say Versamax Tac is a 3.5" gun (which is true and the barrel and receiver can shoot 3.5") so 5 x 3.5" in a tube.
Since I don't really see a difference between the sportsman and the tactical receivers and the ejection port is CLEARLY 3.5", and the ONLY difference is the stock (which is not a firearm and only cosmetic) and the barrel (where the markings are). Are we seriously saying that magazine capacities change depending the barrel one put on a RECEIVER? Hell why don't people get a gun smith and just stamp 3.5" on a versamax tactical barrel and be done with it? Cause it's not "technically wrong" nor is it "cutting a barrel or otherwise"
The only thing I can think of is "RCMP is gonna try and screw with you and it'll cost you a car, risk, and time etc." And it's sad if thats the only reason why
