How are the Sako bipods working out?

I had both.....sold the versapod,I run a Harris 6/9 BR all all my rifles!

Lets see, CF-Harris SBRM, USMC-Harris SBRM, US Army-Harris, Me-Harris.....

Just curious then why the Dept of State will not approve an export permit except for military of LE end use for the new "Raptor" bipods that VersaPod makes, stateing it is "military hardware"
the rest of their line is OK though.
Also strikes me odd that they will allow Versapods into the country (USA) but not Norinco, both ofcourse are made in China, which last I looked was a commy country.


Personally I have had more problems with the Harris on heavy rifles, but then we all have our likes and dislikes.

How are the Sako bipods working out?

Sako makes a nice product no doubt. I really haven't used them enough to form an opinion. They are a bit noisey since the main hinge point is spring/dampening free.

That may be, but the contract goes to the lowest bidder who passes the military requirements, which many products do not.
