im thinking about tacticloling up my upcoming shotgun purchase.. if its a semi then all good, but im worried about putting a vert grip on a pump gun.

it will be an HP9 . synthetic foregrip will have a weaver rail installed on it. and then a vert grip attached to that.

my question.. will the grip put too much leverage on the foregrip and end up damaging it in some way? bend the plastic maybe ?

or am i just over thinking it ?

I didn't put a vertical fore grip on my shotgun, the only reason being that it "felt weird"...I just prefer my standard horizontal fore grip. I really didn't consider any of the factors you are thinking about...although the one that I was looking at was one piece.

we have one shooter in shotgun ipsc that uses a foregend with built in grip- he's very good with it and has no issues.

I have afolding grip on the forend of oner of my shotguns- - rail mounted. mainly because the barrel is only 8 1/2 " long so it's a safety aid. I've had no issues with binding etc- and it twists no more than a regular foreend...
