Hello, I am toying with the idea of putting a vertical grip on my Grizzly (fab defense fore end) and I am just wondering if anyone has tried it, if so how did it function? Was there any binding? and lastly would you recommend it?

Thank you in advance.

I have one on my 15" mag fed grizzly. I put a fab defense 7 position grip on it (the one with the small compartment inside, coincidently holds a 2 3/4 shell PERFECTLY) and I love it. I can
Fold the grip in (but cannot fire with grip folded up) for storage/transport and having a vertical grip with these mag Feds feels really good in my opinion. I see a lot of people putting magpul AFGs on their shotguns but I prefer the VGrip.

Under 9 positions its not worth it.

Everybody i know that had a 7 positions grip instead of 9 are dead today.

Personally, I think on a shotgun it's a waste of time. Sure it looks cool, but I find it hard to pump and not natural at all. The only thing WORSE on a shotgun than a VFG is a magpul AFG. Now THAT sucks bigtime!

I'm no fudd, but railed forends make absolutley zero sense to me on pump shotguns.

In my case I don't need to utilize all 7 positions let alone 9. I use vertical and horizontal if I need to. I don't see how having a foregrip tilt 9 different ways would save your life. I Personally like the way it feels other people might not. It's all about opinion, you should just try it and see if you like it

Its called sarcasm.

tried it all and settled on handstops with vert grips it seemed to torque the action bars making it feel like it was binding.
