Very Good Experience with Dlask

Hi everyone,

I thought I would share a very positive experience I've had with Dlask.

I picked up one of Dlask's AR (14.5 " barrel with A2 upper receiver) carbines and it has been an excellent rifle. Very accurate and reliable.

A cosmetic flaw showed up in the Bushmaster receiver and I took it back for Joe to look at.

Without hesitation, Joe replaced the upper receiver. No questions asked!

Great service!

Wow, Ive had great dealings with Joe as well, although his office help is a little useless sometimes :(

Yep...It's a bloody shame, actually, as I had some really good dealings with Joe in the past, but I'll never darken Dlask's door again. Don't call me a liar when you've made a mistake.....Ma'am....;)

I haven't experienced a problem with the office staff.

Anyways, I'm thrilled to have my DAR-701 up and running again.

My Dlask experience is that you can get some good service and product IF you can get past their receptionist! That woman has the shortest fuse and worst grasp of the English language of ANY firearms retailer in Canada. No exageration!

I purposefully buy elsewhere for moderately more money whenever possible just to avoid her. Seriously. I doubt she understands 50% of what I'm telling her over the phone. Scary stuff.

Should someone tell Mr Dlask? What a shame that all the good intentions/service by Joe is undone by unruly staff!!

I've had Dlask's shop work on 4 or 5 firearms during the last 6 years or so. Three I was absolutely amazed with the quality of work, 2 others I was less than satisfied with. A Winchester M97 shotgun, they just disassembled it and returned it to me after having it for 10 months with nothing being done to it. Not even the decency of an explanation, I just figured that these days they are more interested in manufacturing, than in repairs. I'd never go back to him, I found a good shotgun smith in Saskatoon and have sold the cowboy pistol that I wanted adjusted.

ya I've heard that before as well, Joe keeping things to try and copy designs.

But why when you pay up to 2K w/ taxes(AR's) and have to continue taking it back to get things fitted on it? Mine never accepted anything, you'd think they'd get it right by now, but in HIS own words.... "gun parts need to be fitted". Yup and that's why their is such a thing as MilSPec and why my money now goes to milspec parts.
