Having had a ton of back to basics fun with our provincial 22lr “sniper challenge “ , I decided to return to cf long range shooting.
Now, in the grand scheme , my 400-600y is medium range for you serious guys , however , with my meagre skills it’s a long throw.
I wanted to try and get in on the cheap (relatively speaking ) so I bought the aforementioned rifle new, and mounted a Delta Stryker on top.
The newer models of this rifle have the new “recoil hawk” muzzle brake , and this baby is a dream to shoot
Recoil is practically non existent , and the fit for me is darn near perfect.
I am very pleased with my initial results.
Looking forward to the summer for some newby competition
The glass was a pleasant surprise. I had a NF BR32 on my last one; and I find this scope clearer and brighter
The biggest difference was the low level of chromatic aberration. That’s one area where I was disappointed with the NF. At full magnification, colors were really “runny”
