The reason I asked was I was looking at one for sale in the used market, and someone offered me a new unshot one...but he wanted $1850. I thought it was a bit of a steep price...seems I was right.

I hope I can find a used one!

I actually went and looked at the ad again today. $1400 shipped, brand new in the box never fired Savage Bas-k .308.

Maybe I should buy it?

Be careful guys, there are different stock sets on the BAS-K version... more of the standard M4-style buttstock. Its not the Magpul Industries PRS-G3. Just sayin'

Yea, there was the BAS T K or something like that, that's the one that had the better stock
