I honestly never used much of the fine Euro powder until recently other than for a 6mm PPC i had a number of years ago....
fast forward 12 years and i want to try and find a good load with 50 gr Vmax bullets in my CZ 527 HB varmint 223
The Lee manual has Viht 133 powder at the top of the 50gr bullet powder list as. the one offering most Velocity, Whoo hooo this is the powder I have left over from the PPC rifle.
24.1 starting load and 25.9 max load, completely out of character I started on the lower end. of the scale for my first tests
Loading 24.4, 24.6 and 24.8, my first 2 shots from 24.4 go in the same hole, as per usual I'm giggly and excited and blow the 3rd shot.....
24.6 nothing special, 24.8 first 2 are touching and the 3rd in this group not as bad a miss. I'm guessing velocity to be in the 3300 range, but now that I know the powder and bullet combination is a winner I will
test with the Labradar next visit to the range.
I will check max powder capacity with my Win. brass see what happens, soooooo MUCH FUN.....FS
