I just purchased my first firearm this week, a 12g Winchester SXP pump and want to go shoot it. I have a membership at VFGPA but havnt been up there yet. I'd like to know what section of the range i can use to fire off 100 rounds at some paper just to learn the gun. At a later date I'd like to try skeet but for now I just want to put some rounds downrange. Is there a certain area or certain shotgun only target stands? Any help would be appreciated.

use the "rifle pistol range" for paper and the shot gun range for clays...

for the RP, go to the sign in booth, sign in, turn right go past the care takers house, and go threw the gate up over the hill, ther is target stand at 25/50 on the left side of the range (if your looking down range) and on the right is 25/100/200, there is one or 2 stands made from old rims that you can place at any distance u want.. you can use either side of the range

for the SG range, go straight from the sign in booth, and up the big hill to the club house, for there you will either need hand clay thrower or spring thrower, or for 20 bucks u cant rent a 12volt one from the club

Thanx for the 'low down'. I picked up a case (100) of the Wichester Universal 2 3/4 7.5 shot just to blast through it. Will that work on paper at 50? Really not looking to do anything other than just hit the target lol.:ar15:

that will work fine on the r/p range... if u have a key, the multipurpose range may be of some use as well.

Was at the range today (Saturday) from 2-4pm, met some nice shooters but didn't get any names. I was shhoting my .45 1911 and 12g pump, if you were there, and talked with me shoot me a pm:D
