While doing some family tree research, I stumbled upon this photo of my Great Grandfather, Frank Thomas Kitchener. He was born in England and came to Canada with his family somewhere after 1900. From there he disappears and my Great Grandmother remarried. While I have some knowledge and lots of books on WWI and WWII equipment and uniforms, this is out of my scope of knowledge. I tried looking around Google for a pill box forage cap with single chevron with no luck. Can any of you point me in the right direction to identify the regiment or a more precise time frame for this photo? Sorry it isn't sharper, but it's all I have at them moment. By the way, 2 of his sons went overseas with the CEF. One came back, the other is still buried in a tiny cemetery in France.
