Gentlemen,
.... wrong with these vid pic's taken from one of my vid's.
Can any of you guys look it over and then post what you think is wrong. Have fun.

The video is from Springfield archives documenting the development of the M-14. Springfield experiments used the Garand action, with either the enbloc clip as seen in the photos ora magazine that was initially fixed then later removable. All of this testing was done on the M-1 action. Eventually they devloped the shorter action of the M-14 You will also see there is no upper handguard, in addition to thre noted spacer.
If memory serves me it may be the T-43 or T44 experimental models. Some of these were full auto variant of the M-1 in full 30-06 then in 308.

Sorry about no answer on this post. Answer on the way.
Just wanted to get an interest between you and the new guys.
Here's the answer quick and dirty. After first pic I drop a few frames so what you are seeing is one more round under the case coming out in the first pic. Then I picked up with the last round and the clip coming out. BTW that's part of what was holding up the answer I was trying to cut it down for you guys to SEE the whole Clip. It is all in slow MO I don't think I can post the clip(sorry about that) because it is pretty big. I also stated let's have some fun with this one. I was sure that someone would have pick it up.
