I tried so hard to embed the player, it's beyond my abilities, doh
So in about 40 mins I made these

There's a few frosted ones', those were from at the beginning when the lead wasn't hot enough. This is actually my first batch ever and I was learning where the temp should be. I have it at 3/4 on my big dipper pot.

I had about 10 ones that got put back in for defects, I only had a half a can of water , and they were distorting , so I filled up the can, and now they are cool when they bonk the bottom.

I just put the slugs back in the trap shells, and they stick in there for the most part. Because these are only for fun. it serves me well. They cycle and load proper in the mag tubes.

If anyone has any feedback , all is welcome, cheers

Wolf: Great video on converting to slug. Now I'm going to have to buy slug moulds for 12 and 20 ga. See what you're making me do!!:p

Thanks for sharing! :)

Hey that's a good idea, I have just been making wax slugs with 7 1/2 trap, but this is definitely something that I'd like to try.

Also I have found that the Winchester hulls are easier to cut than the Federals.

I do these too.

I cut the shell to pour out the lead. Then when I insert the slug, I put a dab of diluted wood glue on the tip of the slug just to seal everything up because I don't have a star or roll crimping device. This is also way easier and fewer steps than Wolf's method.

I'll have to try this in my Grizzly and rifled M535 barrel, and perhaps the Norc M97T.

That looks like a good low cost zombie load! Perhaps even good for deer.
