Hi need to pick the brain of seasoned reloaders, just got into this part of the hobby. My plan was to use n133 for my .223 but there is a month delay before it's back in stock. Trying to replicate 69 grain lapua ammo and federal smk 69 grain ammo , both shot tight groups in my tikka tac and savage precision elite. Going to be using 69 gain lapua and smk 69 bullets , lapua brass and cci br small rifle primers.
Any suggestion of a replacement powder that you have tried would be appreciated. The second question is hornady brass worth reloading I have a bunch from trying out hornady match eld and bthp
cheers

I am usng H335 with the 69 smk.
VV135 is even better than 133..

Hornady brass is good brass..just to do case prep..primer pocket uniforming, flash hole and maybe a small neck turn if any variation, just a touch after using a neck expander.
Myself I use Lake City brass ..full match prep including weight sorting and it leave nothing in precision to Lapua brass.
