Looking at trying some vv powder in 9mm. Loading 124/147 Speer and MG bullets. By looking at the vv loading charts on thier site it looks like 320 or 330 is the preferd powder choice for these weights. Mainly concerned with accuracy and not pf. Anyone with first hand experience like to comment on vv powder choices.

I use 5.9 gr Vv N320 under a 184 gr JSWC 45ACP. I get 950 f/s out of a 3 7/8" barrel which makes IPSC major and cycles my 1911 well. This powder tosses very consistently and burns clean.

You can't really go wrong with VihtaVuori powders. I've used N350 quite a bit in 9mm/.45ACP/10mm/.40S&W, 3N37 in the same and N110 in .357Mag/.44Mag. I've heard great things about N320 (apparently much loved by the IPSC crowd) but I've never been able to find any (because of the aforementioned IPSC crowd).

Like HKJMark23 said, meters great and burns clean.

And by the way, thanks for spelling it right. 95% of the time people write VihtaVouri.

:agree::agree:

I use VihtaVuori 350 in a couple of 9mm's using either MG 124 gr. HP's or cast 124 gr. RN or TC configurations and as Cerdan mentions clean burning and meters great. Very good accuracy as well. VihtaVuori is not a cheap powder but you can get a lot out of a pound with the 9mm cartridge.
As an aside, I didn't get the accuracy out of the .45 with this powder that I do with the 9mm loads.

Ya, Ive got to check the spelling each time or Id get it wrong as well;)

I've always bought mine at Higginson Powders (Hawkesbury ON) or Dante Sports (Montreal QC) but I'll wager many more stores and distributors have some in stock.
