I was gifted with a pound of 'Tin Star' powder I want to try in.44 Spl., 44-40 and .45 Colt for CAS.
Can't find loading data for it, even on the Vihtavuori site. Did find one comment by a guy who simply uses Trail Boss data and says it does well for him.
He says it smells like "baboon farts" unlike the chemical smell of Trail Boss. For anyone shooting 'mouse fart' loads with any other powder, he can now step up to 'primate' level.
He didn't elaborate on how he knew what a baboon fart smelled like .... ;>)
