Lately, I've found myself drawn to vintage ammo in original boxes at various gun shows. I purchased a box of 1950's vintage 32 S&W Long (98 grain LRN, 795 fps, 138 ft. lbs) that I was intending on shooting and then saving the brass for reloading, but couldn't bring myself to do it based on the condition of the box and ammo, though it is missing 1 round. I also just found an unscathed box of 1930's vintage 32 S&W Long / Colt Police Positive with all 50 rounds intact. I look at these as investments and eye candy for my gun room. It's also nice to know that I could shoot them in a pinch. What'cha got?
I also have 2 boxes of very old Norma 6.5x55 hunting ammo... that I fully intend on shooting.
