A buddy had a pile of boxes of old Dominion 270 ammunition for sale at the HACS show so I bought two boxes with 160 grain bullets in them.

You don't often see 270 loaded with that weight bullet these days, they are usually 130 or 150 gr.

They were well stored and except for a bit of frost on the lead tips, the cartridges look good as new.

I'm confident that if they shoot well out of my rifle I could hunt deer and black bear or even moose with them.

Would you?

I've shot lots of it and have lots left to shoot.
Put each cartridge in a seater die and seat the bullets a few thou deeper to break the bond that happens over time which could affect pressure and accuracy.

Great brass too! I prefer it to anything else.

CIL Dominion here in Canada invented the plastic tip bullet, the Sabre Tip, a little known fact!
