Hey guys, quick question~what kind (if you use one) of sling are you using with your old Cooey single-shots? I took a quick look at the leather sling options at LeBarons the other day, and they're all pretty heavy duty....and cost almost as much as this old shooter did! 
Wouldn't mind getting something that is either from a similar era, or at least, is in keeping with the econo-nature of these rifles. Would love it to be leather. Black 1" webbing would probably look totally out of place...before anyone mentions that.
As for the rifle~put about 100 shots through it yesterday, plinking only. Still undecided about the scope, I'd almost hate to change the old-school look of it. Might be nice to keep a .22 with irons...new territory for me!
