Vintage leupold pioneer 4x scope

I'm curious to the value of a scope of this type and vintage. I bought a gunsmith made rifle with this scope It came with the original leupold box with manual and scope caps. Appears to have seen little use.
What do I have here?
Any ideas?

Unless it's an old Unertl... the market/interest for vintage scope is pretty small. You see the odd one at gunshows for +/- $50
The mounts are probably worth more than the scope. I'd use it as is, or sell it as a kit.

I've got an older pre M8 series in 8X.
Curious to know what Leupold would replace it with when
and if it decides to no werky.
