Just purchasedd this early production (1st year) Manurhin (Walther) Sport pistol and have taken it to the firing range once. Nice little gun but it failed to load a .22 LR every once in a while. The lip of the magazine was bent too close to allow the cartridge to exit the mag. A slight bend and that was fixed.
Also found it needed a good cleaning as there was leading in the rifling and the old grease had thickened. After old grease removed and a good cleaning the slide actually felt easier to work. I believe this pistol has seen very little action over it's 60 year life and was likely someones safe queen. Nice walnut grips. Take a look at the picks.
