Bring your Mauser, Lee Enfield or Garand
Camp Borden, Saturday May 16
8:30 am at Amiens Range
For vintage rifles and also a class for modern/sporter rifles.
Have some fun with your friends and rifles. 100, 200 and 300 yards
Shoot some practice groups, plus deliberate, snap and rapid matches.
Match Report
Scattered showers threatened, but we managed to shoot 9 different matchs without getting wet. The gentleman with the blonde #4 returned and kicked ass with some incredible shooting.
Actually, the level of shgooting from all was quite high, even though several commented they had never shot beyond 100 yards before.
I saw a Garand, 3 SKS, 2 m14s, and at least one #4.
I had a brain fart and left my camera at home, so don't have a lot of photos to share. But these will give you an idea of what happened. I am the old fart holding a target and looking pretty palesed with myself. I managed to win one match, the 100 yard mover, shot from the standing position. My SKS managed to shoot a perfect score.
