Can anyone tell me more about this single shot? I just aquired one in ROUGH shape. The barrel is attached to the stock with a single knurled nut, the trigger guard extends in a loop to form a mock pistol grip, and it has a metal butt plate with the Savage Indian Head logo. The bolt handle is bent down at a 90deg. angle so the knob almost touches the stock - I'm assuming this was modified by a previous owner. The bolt handle also has some slop and won't extract a cartridge.
