Today was absolutely perfect for shooting. Not too hot. No bugs. No wind. An interesting collection of rifles. A couple hunting rifles. And at least one each of K31, M14, SKS, SVT, Mosin Nagant and LE #4.
I shot a new AR-15 that arrived last week. A Palmetto State Armory. It ran perfectly.
100 was shot standing. Very different than shooting prone. 200 and 300 we shot prone and rest our rifles on something. At each distance we shot a deliberate (10 shots in 5 minutes) Snap (3 second exposures) and a mover (10 exposures of target walking about 20 feet.)
Started at 8:00. Done by 4:00.
Prizes (bottles of wine) went to 10 different shooters.
