Vintage Whiz Bang .22, value help

Hi all, I have a friend who is going to try and sell this at a gun show for me at the end if the month but I have no idea the value . I googled around and came up with anywhere from $10 to $20 per box of 50, could this be possible???? Any help would be great.

Prices online from antique ammo shops indicate anywhere between $45 and $75 US

I think $600 for the brick. Try EE over a gun show, you may get more exposure from collectors.

Whiz Bang was the brand name for hivel 22 and was made for over 30 years and with many box variations some much scarcer than others.

I've got a collection of vintage CIL 22 ammo inlcuding a few of these.

If each box is full of corrosion free rounds, native to the box, and if the boxes are in nice shape, each box is worth $5.00 - $15.00.
The whole brick might fetch $150.00 or so, but condition is everything.

I think the "firecracker" boxes are the ones that are worth the most money. Those are pretty plain.

All depends how they have been stored over the years .
I've got some WW1 3006 ammo in the original stripper clips & bandoleers and they look like they just left the factory.

They are not that old if they were .72 a box as I bought lots of them for .41- .55 a box in the 50s and 60s., a brick was $4.50 then and still have a few left.

I ended up getting $100 at the gun show , I'm happy with that
