We designed this as a “Meet and Greet” and a non-competitive or “Fun Shoot.'’ Of course, small friendly rivalries did provide a lot of amusement for people

Here is Tinman204 and Winchester 30-30 shooting at the 300 yard steel gong.

.
The 25 mm Hotchkiss empties, and a loaded 20 mm Soluthurn magazine
.

.
Wolverine’s John using a Martini.

.
Shooting a semi-automatic LEGAL STEN Sub-Machine Carbine
.

.
Of course, if you have an Anti-Tank Gun, you should have a way of moving it around.

Instruction on the PTRS prior to firing it.

Some still and some video. I haven't had a real chance to go through them and see who was firing what but will later. I will make up some picture disks for the computer and send them along later, but I had to work this afternoon.

I am pretty sure I have a picture of you firing the PTRS but not sure if I have video as I was using one camera at a time.

Glad to have you and your Grandfather. The people who come to these events are also the ones who make an event successful. Since this one was a first time kind of thing, we learned a lot of things we could do to improve another one, and also what we could do without. There are a lot of Shoots in Canada, but we might have made a "First" with the idea of the "Meet and Greet" with a bit of shooting involved.

i have a video of the PTRS, was just curious that sten was fun to shoot:) it was a great event, my grandfather and i very much enjoyed the company, the guns and the wonderful time we had, i think eventually this could evolve into more of a shooting event but i think it went off great, it was nice to meet some fellow gun nuts!

Both the Solothurn and the Hotchkiss (Puteaux) were owned by Wolverine. The PTRS was privately owned. The Wolverine "Mob" loves to shoot too, and they really helped to make the day a success. Their support was much appreciated.

Yeah, I hate him, I hate him alot. When that Solothurn came up he beat me to it. Still makes me cry at night. The greatest thing ever listed in the EE. I am gonna go cry now...

oh man that looks like so much fun!!!!

oh, and that first pic doesn't seem to have any Winchester 30-30's in it or??

Sure it does. WINCHESTER 30-30 is sitting on the right bench, wearing yellow ear protection, and using the Swiss Schmidt-Rubin IG-11 rifle with the scope on it.:D
