Hey guys. Im just wondering if you've had any further talks about bringing the vis 35 pistol that fb is still making like the originals?

Because no one should make a post about an obscure pistol without a picture..

Doesn't really fit TI's modus operandi of importing strictly high end, "tactical" style collector firearms.

We asked about them several months back, we were told that they were not a regular production item, one of those things they'd need a large order to produce. When we asked about pricing we didn't hear back. Will ask again next time we talk to them. We don't expect them to be reasonably priced though due to the low production. Likely upwards of 1k but not more than 2k we'd imagine.

I own a very nice type III Vs.35...........but its just too nice (and rare as noted above) to be taking it out everyday and playing with her. I would buy a brand new production Vs.35 in a heartbeat! Tactical Imports, is there a real chance of this being a reality?

And for the folks who havent the chance to fondle one.........they are truly the PERFECT pistol. Combines the looks and feel of a 1911 and a Highpower, with a large dose of old world Polish craftmanship and flair thrown in! I guarantee once you play with one, you would readily agree they are truly a thing of beauty!

I've held an early German period one, and they are really nice pistols.
I have never been able to get my hands on one either (not for lack of trying though)

The notion of a new Radom, especially if it was made with the same craftsmanship as the originals, is very appealing. I don't doubt that they'd be able to find a fairly sizeable market for them, unless there's a US import ban or something.

I spoke with one of the guys from TI at the sportsman show and I suggested a very simple solution to this. If we find out a minimum order and the price per unit, just start taking non-refundable deposits until the list is full then place an order. I think if people realized how limited the opportunity is for this, we should easily fill it.

My early Vis 35 is a work of art. I got it off a fellow CGN'er in the EE and it is by far the best made handgun I've had or seen. If the new ones are made to the same quality specs, it's going to be worth every penny.

:)
