I'll be in town for work. My evenings should be free, so are there some clay clubs near Ktown that are active during the evening Monday - Thursday? Won't have my equipment but would like to see how the Ontario clubs do things.

As mentioned above, also check out Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club on McAdoo's Lane near Montreal Street. There are outdoor pistol shoots on Tues and Wed evenings throughout the summer starting around 5pm, and several board/executive members are active at these events.

If you PM me the dates you are coming, I'd be happy to meet with you and show you around the club.

Edit: I noticed that this was posted in the skeet/trap forum, which FRPC doesn't have facilities for, but still plan on visiting!

Yup kingston skeet club will be open on wednesday, there is a group that shows up around noon and another group around 5-5:30

Come out and have a look around someone will likely put a gun in your hands.

I won't be able to make it though.

Also if you have some time during the day checkout fort fredrick on the rmc campus. Probably the best firearms collection in canada.

Thanks guys. I'll check out SFRC and FRPC tomorrow in the 4-6pm range. Depends when I can get out of work. And if I'm still in town Wednesday I'll stop by the shotgun field.

I won't be there on Tuesday evening but the FRPC pistol ranges should have the usual suspects out around 5pm, including many of the club executive. If the gate is open, head in and introduce yourself at the pit ranges behind the main building.
