VISM Centre Beam Scope WORTH IT?

I was thinking of getting of those since they're so appealing. I got the news letter from CanAm and I am looking for a beginner scope to match my Remington 700 coming in the mail. However, after searching for reviews on the web, I came across http://www. popguns.com/vismoptics/default.htm and as you can see what they say at the bottom of the review - that scope doesn't fit their quality standards. Is it just because these guys go top-of-the-line products only or is $200 a good investment prior to purchasing a helluva scope from hell!?

what's the point of a riflescope with a built in laser?

your crosshair is your aiming point, so what does the laser point do?

for $200 i'd stick with a bushnell 3200 3-9x40
