I bought a Evo scope back in May, Link to the scope here. http://www.opticsplanet.com/vism-evolution-series-4-16x50-rifle-scope-with-glass-etched-reticle.html
I'm having the same issue as one of the reviewers on optics planet, The vertical turret only adjusts about 10 clicks and where and when this happens seems to be random. I only found this out after about 50 rounds and a lot of frustration.
I ended up buying a bore sighter on the way back from the range to take a look at the issue, for 90% of the turrets rotation it does nothing, it clicks but the Reticle doesn't move when it does move it's not consistent or enough, I was still about 6 inches high at 100 yards.
Too the point, i'm in the process or warrantying the scope and this was Vism's response. "I read over your issue with the VISM Evo scope and it appears the internals are just stiff. My suggestion would be to tap on the turret with the back of a screwdriver or something similar to break the adjustments loose."
Anyone ever see a problem like this before? And are they just trying to waste my time? Deer season starts in 15 days!
Thanks,
Scariguy
