Vltor casv el and aimpoint micro co-witness ??

I want to add a vltor casv el handguard to my AR15. I'm also planning to add aimpoint micro. I want to know if with the standard aimpoint mount that come with it it'll cowitness?

The vltor casv el add height to the upper receiver rail and I want to know if the additionnal height will replace a spacer to co-witness?

American Defense MFG makes a "CAS-V" co-witness height mount. They are awesome mounts and I highly recommend them! TSE has them but they are our of stock. You can order them directly from American Defense MFG's website though.

It will provide a lower 3rd Co-witness with the iron sights.

With the ADM LOW mount you may be able to get closer to an absolute co-witness, but it will probably sit lower than absolute (even if just by 1/8th inch or less)

In that picture you can tell it's at least a 1/4" lower than absolute co-witness, so you will need some sort of riser for it. I think Aimpoint has a 1/2" riser which would put into the "lower 3rd" co-witness area.
