If anyone out there has experience with Voere rifles and could answer a question, I'd be greatful. I'm having a hard time finding info online.
I've got a Voere in .308 that dates to the 70's I think. I can pull the tang safety latch out by hand and I'm not sure if that is how it is designed, or if it is somehow broken. The only other tang safety I have experience with is on my 12 gauge and that one can't simply be removed by hand. I came home from the range the other day and when I opened the case, the safety was laying next to the gun, having somehow fallen out while being transported. It is easy to put back in, but there does not seem to be any way to ensure it stays there. I should mention, that apart from the recent trip to the range, it has never fallen out on it's own.
