Volley sights for Enfield P1914

Numerich has reproductions for the SMLE, might be worth checking them out. They've got a slightly less comprehensive list for the P14/17.

I got mine from EFD Rifles (based in the UK). They have a guy in the US that stocks their parts and can send them to Canada. They make a nice reproduction of the correct length pointer as well as the proper screw and washer. h ttp://www.efdrifles.com/index.php

X2 on EFD! They are great to deal with.

OP: If your rifle is marked with a six pointed star on the bolt and receiver your rifle has been through the Weedon repair standard, and although it seems like those parts are "missing" that is actually the correct configuration for the rifle.

The star on the bolt & receiver does not relate to the WRS a star and a letter on the underside of the butt just behind the "pistol grip" is the WRS mark & the letter is the code for the factory that did it , the star on the handle & receiver means its a Mk1* & has a modification to the locking lugs.

Well I stand corrected sir! Thank you.

I got my wires crossed, haven't memorized Stratton's "British Enfield Rifles" yet! :D
