So changed the bolt buffer, bolt release and hammer on my 10/22 to Volquartsen parts. I did not change the hammer spring or trigger spring that came with the kit

Now I guess my collection of parts begins or do you al think there is a market for those parts

If you don't mind sharing, where did you buy the Volquartsen parts? I'm trying to avoid Brownells.

Cant believe this has not been said yet...

Found a 10/22 part... Time for another build!

Lol, to touch on another thread. Use one of the CCI clear box's ... Put them in there in storage... Mark what they are.

I have an entire shelf in my safe dedicated to extra parts... A lot of the guns I dont own any more either!

put them in a ziplock and label it with what gun and what they are.
20 years from now when you go to sell that gun and you hand the guy that ziplock he will think your the smartest person ever to walk gods green earth.

that and you never know when something is gonna break or when your gonna lose something while cleaning your gun.
never hurts to have back up parts.
and, as a added bonus, one day soon youll have enough extra parts to build a whole new gun!
thats how you know that the addiction has taken hold.

I can usually remember what all the parts are for from 30-40 yrs, but go to town for something and I can't remember why when I got there, or why I got the fridge open, just goes to show what is important I guess.
As soon as you get rid of something, you will need it later.
