In the recent purchase thread I had posted a pic of the volquartsen v block, had a couple people pm me about them asking if its worth it.
Yes it is if you have other parts aftermarket parts on the gun if the gun is still original then no its not. I have a 10" bull barrel with comp and in a hogue stock it was no where near floating even with no pressure on the forend. Now its floating allmost all the way down except for the first 1/2" so it held up the barrel alot better and thats a 10" barrel so with a 16"+ bull barrel id say its a must! If you spent the $ on a barrel you might as well spend another $20 on this.
