It was a beautiful day so I decided to take the .22 Lr and .17 HMR out for a spin.
I finally found some hunting high velocity my semi auto likes. The American Eagle 40 grain solids grouped not to bad, good enough for small game hunting.
I also tried some match ammo and was pleasantly surprised that it cycled my action with no problem. I tried Lapua Master L and Lapua Super Club.
Below was the best group with the Super Club at 50 yards:
And the rifle:
My .17 HMR did o.k as well today. Here are some groups from 50 yards:
Some from 100 yards. With the exception of the bottom right (sighter) most were just over 1" or smaller:

The tricky part is getting used to the recoil that big bolt produces when cycling.
