I have an opportunity to buy a Volstock pistol but can't find much info on them. It comes in a case with a bunch of accessories, I haven't seen it in person just pics. Owner doesn't know much about it because it was her deceased fathers and she is clearing out the estate.
Does anyone know about these and their value?

If it comes in a wooden case, has wood grips , and comes with accessories and tools then it is an older model. I bought a newer model Margolin made by Baikal from another CGNer last year for about $350

It comes in a wooden case with acc. But has plastic grips.
From what little info I have come up with it seems to be a late 60's early 70's model, but I really haven't found out much.

Also some were made to shoot only .22 short rather than .22 Long Rifle. Accessories should include an oil bottle, screwdriver, package of spare springs, cleaning rod and tips, and possibly some barrel weights and a "hand stop."

I have sold a few of these and they are a exc pistol for the price, not real good in a holster
nice trigger, simple , I would think in nice condition 400.oo , it it has the barrel weight 450.oo-500.
most of the ones with the barrel weight & comp are 22 short rapid fire pistols which i really like, but
22 short ammo can be a problem.

I've had a few of the 22 short target units...the spares include firing pin, front and rear sights, oil bottle, screw driver, wood box etc...
nice accurate pistols...just try and get those with any Smith, Ruger, Remington....what ever the price I'm sure you will enjoy having it...KEN.

Told her I would take it for $300 and she accepted.
It is .22 long apparently.
I figure for that money It will be an interesting piece to have around.
I will post pics when I get it.
