After roughly a year in the making, Voltron has been successfully formed. I had originally set out to assemble, from the ground up, this entire rifle. However, I recently broke down and ordered the last major component, the barrelled upper from Armtac, because I really don't need to buy a custom match barrel, and they were looking entirely too appealing. I need that money for ammo.

So, the only parts I did not assemble are the barrelled upper, the forward assist, and the dust cover. Everything else has been monkeyed with by me. On the plus side, I didn't do too much damage to it. Only destroyed 2 wrenches, 1 spring for the rear takedown pin detent, 1, castle nut, and 1 receiver extension tube.

Not bad for my first time.

Just to see what happens I've left the flash hider indexed on the right side of the barrel, rather than pointed up like normal. Since I've got my left hand on the rail I want to see if that results in slightly difference handling and recoil. Plus I'm sure it will piss off a bunch of people, and that's the real benefit.

Yeah great but how many years is the warranty on your bed? Is it stripped to go out for warranty work??? What happened to it to need warranty? Or do I not want to know? Actually I don't want to know. Nice rifle :)

AR-15 year warranty. I should send it for warranty work, this mattress don't get me laid.

Anyone else see a big swastika in that logo?
And I would have gotten away with it if not for that meddling AK.
