Vortex 1 - 6 Scope on AR 10

Good optic. It would really depend on what you are using it for. The Vortex is suppose to be a good jack of all trades optic for close to medium range.

I thought the AR10 shoots 308 not 223. It would be wise to get an optic with a reticle pattern that matches the caliber of bullet.
 
i have the vortex illuminated strike eagle 1 - 6 on my AR and i really like it. I shoot indoors up to 50 yards and have had no problems with it. hoping to get a guest pass next week to an outdoor range to stretch it out to 100 yrds and maybe more.
 
I doubt you are going to have a 223 caliber AR10. But yes, sure, no reason not to put a scope that qualifies as a Vortex 1-6 on it.

Viper PST Gen 2, 1-6 MRAD on my Stag 10 in 6.5CM @ 100yds seems to be working fine.
