I saw online that Vortex now has zero stops shims available for the HS LR series. I needed a set for my 4-16x44 LR, and sent them an email asking where/how to purchase a set. I sent them the email at 10:00 pm, and they replied the next morning at 7:30 am, and agreed to send me them that day at no charge.
It is great to deal with a company that is so responsive.
 
I recently picked up a 4-16x50 PST for the old war horse (m1917 .30-06), but haven't had much time to go try it out due to mounting issues. It's great to hear Vortex has great customer service from people other than the sales folk.
 
I've had close to a dozen vortex products(scopes and binos) without an issue. This scope was an open box special and the shims were missing. They responded within 10 hours and I had them within 36 hours. It doesn't get much better than that.
