Vortex Canada

I just wanted to send out a shout out to Vortex Canada. I sent for repair or replace a Vortex Viper 6MOA optic. They received it on the 28th and mailed out the replacement (I asked if they would consider changing it to a Venum 6MOA...they made the change) on the same day. I will have the replacement in my hands next Thursday according to Canada Post.

Vortex service is as advertised. I have three other Vortex Optics all of which have been dead nits reliable. For what I use the Optics for I cannot justify paying twice the amount for an Optic. The Vortex meets my needs and a price point I am willing to pay.

Thanks again to Vortex for the outstanding service.

Amen, I love that I can learn things the hard way, like, no you don’t have internal torque wrench capabilities, and not have to buy a new scope. Probably should have had to haha. Both my vortex have stood the test of time besides that! Here’s to hoping that is the only time I have to use the warranty, but I’m happy knowing I’m covered for anything!

Bingo. Kinda makes you wonder when it's cheaper for them to just replace than to fix.

What they lack in quality they make up for in customer service. Personally Id rather have quality myself but to each their own.

They have one of the highest rates of warranty return in the industry. It's no wonder their customer service is so good. They've had lots of practice. Seriously though, their cost of manufacture must be dirt cheap. Otherwise, they'd be bankrupt by now.

I have to say that I’m not the smartest person in the world, I sent back a Sparc2 since the reticle was goofy looking and inconsistent. Turns out it just needed a NEW battery. They sent me a brand NEW replacement Sparc2. Darn, that’s great service.

Since then, I’ve been rocking a Diamondback Tac FFP 4-16x EBR2 and a Tac FFP 6-24 EBR2 for both my client shooters in .223 and .22 LR CZ455 Varmint. These rigs don’t get abused since they are range queens...

I’ve been happy, so far!

I switched to the Venom from the Viper because the former loads the battery from the top without the need to remove the Optic from the slide. Both are/were 6MOA models. The larger dot helps with the action shooting I do where fine accuracy is seldom required. Both are excellent sights.
