I have a Vortex crossfire ii 3-9x40 that came as part of a combo with a Mossberg Patriot. Its been fine for about a year but in the last week the POI has started to creep after adjusting the elevation. What I mean by that is if I change the elevation a few clicks and then set it back the POI is off from the original position.
I did a ton of test shooting today and my groups are all 90% sub moa with 5 shots each; the issue is not with stray shots, it's the whole group moving.
The rings and mounts are all solid and the scope hasn't been moved since originally installed a year ago.
Any thoughts? Anyone else had this problem?
