Vortex Crossfire: Is this normal?

Today I picked up the Vortex Crossfire that I purchased from Eagle Hunting Supplies.
I noticed that some of the front lens is not flush with the front housing ring. It appears to be at an angle. Is this normal? See pictures below.

Lower budget means lower tolerances.... used to be a massive Vortex Fanboy, this last year after buying a few Viper pst 2’s I have given up on them. Their quality is going downhill with the prices remaining the same. It used to be cortex was super high end glass for a lower budget now that’s just not the caseS

Yeah, except for the fact they are intentionally manufactured this way because:
