I’m looking for a scope to match to a model 70 Alaskan 30-06 for primarily hunting use. Most of the shooting I’ll be doing is under 200 yards, and in a couple of tree stands, under 100. I’m looking at the Crossfire Viper 3, Diamondback HS, and also the Diamondback. Any advice?

I wouldn’t put any of those on a Center fire hunting rifle. I had a vortex Diamondback on a 375 Ruger. 15 shots knocked the reticle loose. I’ve lost trust. In that budget I would look for a Redfield or Leopold.

I've tried all if those and have never had any issues with a vortex product. I currently have a viper on one of mine and a diamondback tactical on another. I wouldn't hesitate on any of them. The glass on the viper is slightly better than the diamondback, the diamondback slightly better that then crossfire. The zoom adjust on the viper is notably better than the other two, but optical clarity and brightness is quite good on all. For what you described, I'd probably stick with a basic 3-9x40 Crossfire II.

I had a Crossfire and it wouldn't hold zero. They have a fantastic warranty and replaced it, no questions asked, for an upgraded one. I now have two rifles sporting Diamondbacks and the scope performance for me is stellar.

Not much experience but had a diamondback on a rifle for all of a week, didn't like the clarity, traded for a bushnell elite that was much better. I'd go with the Viper out of those options if your hunting at dusk and dawn.
