I am thinking of getting a Vortex Crossfire 4x16 -50mm scope with wide Duplex for my 22-250.
I realize that this is the Vortex low end scope, however I don't want to invest a large amount of money for the amount of time it will be used
I probably will use it for varmints most of the time
I was wondering how well it will hold up on a 22-250. It does come with a lifetime warranty
Would you recommend another Vortex model or a lower magnification.
I see on some of there models parallex is only 100 yards
Thanks

Got one in 30mm mounted it on my RA XCR. First one i bought took out to sight in and the reticle twisted, contacted vortex told them the situation and how i wanted one asap for coyote season.. As soon as they got the tracking nmber for the one i was returning they sent me a replacement and plus a set of rings for my trouble ( i was pretty dissappoint a new out of box scope would do that) so as far a customer service i love vortex, the replacement scope is perfect.

Decent scope for the money. Should give you good service with no issues on a 22-250.

Ive got a Crossfire 6-24x50. 30mm tube. It had no problems holding its zero on my .270win.

Great scope for $239.

Not the most amazing glass but it was cheap!

Have one on a 300wsm something has come apart in the glass as chips and black fragments throuout lens, also adjustment clicks will move up after a group of shots. The scope is still very accurate and clear.

The reason you wont find many on Ebay is because Vortex does not allow their dealers to sell in that fashion. You might find a used one though. Also, be aware there are issues if you buy a used one and try to bring it in to Canada from the US.

In all honesty, you wont get a better price or better service than One Shot Tactical. They are a board sponsor and are great to deal with.

cool thanks man ill check them out, im in the market for a new higher powered scope, something that has a nice warranty and wont break the bank, hold zero, etc. lots of expectations i know, lol
